Pre-blended fast drying Industrial Floor Screed to a thickness of 25-30 mm to meet existing Finished Floor Levels.
This was finished with our Britdura 3000 Solvent Free Epoxy Flowed Coating to a thickness of approximately 3mm.
The floor had a fine slip resistant texture.
Line markings and contrasting colours were used to form a layout and to warn users to keep Studio Doors free from obstruction.
The BBC Television Centre is at the heart of a larger Construction Site so it was important that we had SMSTS and SSSTS qualified staff. To unload deliveries we had our own CPCS qualified Forklift Driver.
We prepared the concrete using Von Arx Scabbling machines to remove traces of asphalt and to clean the surface. Vacuums were attached to the preparation machinery in order to capture dust and debris.
Elgood Flooring project managed and installed.
