Vaillant had used Elgood Industrial Flooring over 10 years ago to coat the old concrete floors.
We entered the tendering process and won the contract due to our unique product and emphasis on obtaining the best value for Vaillant.
Installation Programme: two phases to fit with Vaillant’s fit out schedule.
Flooring selected: Elgood Industrial Flooring’s Britdura 1000 A/S Solvent Free Epoxy Floor Coating in the colour Slate Grey. Additional colours included Traffic Blue and Yellow. The coating has a fine slip resistant finish for safety and appearance.
We have always been able to confidently over lay our existing floorings thereby minimizing waste.
We reuse our packaging and use only solvent free Epoxy resin.

As part of an investment programme in a New Production Line, Vaillant required a floor with ESD properties.
The floor was aggressively scrub cleaned to reduce the silicone contamination. The floor was sealed with our low viscosity primer. This provided a clean silicone free base coat.

Each installation is carried out by Elgood Industrial Flooring Ltd and includes the necessary copper earthing strip laid within the flooring and taken to one or more earth points as required by the client.

5.3.2 Personnel grounding All personnel shall be grounded or equipotentially bonded according to the requirements below when handling ESDS. When personnel are seated at ESD protective workstations, they shall be connected to ground via a wrist strap system. For standing operations, personnel can be grounded via a wrist strap system or by a flooring foot wear system. When a flooring-footwear system is used, either of the two following conditions shall be met: – the total resistance of the system (from the person, through the footwear and flooring to equipment ground) shall be less than 3,5 X107 Ω;
