A concrete floor which had been coated by Elgood Flooring over 9 years ago. The coating had been a great success and for this reason Technicut were keen to employ Elgood Industrial Flooring again to refurbish the floor in readiness for the arrival of their new machinery.
The excellent adhesion of our coating system to the concrete meant that we could etch the surface using diamond floor grinders rather than have to remove the coating using a more invasive method.
The coating has good inter-coat adhesion and offers long term value in engineering/industrial environments.
The installation was carried out in a single phase of four days.

Preparation
The coating was prepared using Diamond Floor Grinders. To control and capture the dust generated by the process, these machines are vacuum contained.
