Needs
Codan have been a long standing customer of Elgood Industrial Flooring and in December 2003, it was decided that their British Operation was to be consolidated. A refurbishment of the floors in the offices and the main shop floor was necessary in order to hand over the premises to the land lord. The Materials and Workmanship Guarantee was transferred to the land lord and the incoming tenant.
Preparation
Due to the fact that we had prepared and coated the concrete floors several years ago and had achieved a good physical bond, we did not need to use shot blasting to prepare the surface. Instead, we used driven scrubbing machines to abrade the surface and a degreasing solution to remove marks and surface contamination.
