INSTALLATION TECHNIQUE

Trowel Application

In the photographs you can see a concrete floor that has recently been prepared by shotblasting. The concrete is clean and has a light texture which is the physical key for the new floor.

By applying the resin flooring by trowel we can achieve the best possible adhesion at the interface between the coating and the underlying concrete. This is what guarantees the life and success of a floor.

The trowel application ensures an even distribution of the resin and a consistent overall finish. Regardless of whether we are installing coatings, flow coats or screeds, all of our floors are laid with a trowel application. Click Images to View Enlargements

Jointing is attended to using a range of compounds that are designed to accommodate a variety of jointing problems. In the middle photograph we are using a flexible Epoxy mortar to bond with and reinforce the existing jointing.

Installations are carried out by our full time employed floor layers so there is no divided responsibility which enables us to provide a materials and workmanship guarantee. You are in complete control of the installation of your new floor!
