2,000 (Manchester) and 2,500 (Dublin) square metre heavily worn concrete floors.

Manchester - the installation was completed in one phase.

Dublin - the installation was complete in two phases.

Chep selected

Elgood Industrial Flooring's Britdura 750 Solvent Free Highbuild Epoxy Floor Coating in the colour Slate Grey. Contrasting colours were used to highlight specific areas.

Chep required

Chep required a hard wearing floor coating that would lift the presentation and assist house keeping. It was also important that the floor could withstand continual fork lift traffic.

It was important that the floor met both cost and performance demands.

Preparation

Dust free shotblasting was used to remove the existing paint and to clean and key the concrete. Diamond grinding was used to prepare edges.

The specified floor

The Britdura 750 Highbuild Solvent Free Epoxy Floor Coating which is applied by trowel with a finished thickness of approximately 1mm.
