Installation Programme

The floor was installed during a normal working week.

Requirements

The client carried out a thorough investigation into which flooring would be most suitable for their requirements including looking at pigmented concrete. They wanted a floor covering that would have a good standard of appearance and most importantly be able to tolerate the transfer of the heavy machinery into the building shortly after completion.

Preparation

The concrete was given a light shotblast to produce a physical key for the new floor.

The Chosen Floor

The Britdura 750 Epoxy Floor Coating which is laid to a thickness of 1mm and in this instance included the Fast Track' moisture resistant Epoxy Primer designed for use on new concrete.
