HEALTH & SAFETY
|
We consider Health and Safety to be of the utmost importance. It is one of the reasons why we employ our installation teams on a full time basis. Retaining our own floorlayers means that they participate in our Health and Safety programme and are kept up to date with additions and changes to our product range. We are also in a position to ensure that our employees are equipped with all necessary PPE. Having informed and safety conscious floorlayers means that we are able to act in the best interest of our clients. Safety Scheme ParticipationTo meet the safety requirements of our diverse customer base, we have participated in two nationally recognised safety schemes. All of our installation staff carry CCNSG Passports and / or have passed the basic Health and Safety test for a CSCS card. In most cases our staff are qualified for both schemes. Additional QualificationsFirst Aid.'In addition to ensuring that our employees have passed the Health and Safety tests required for the CCNSG Passport, we endeavour to have at least one qualified First Aider on every installation team. This enables us to be self sufficient when working during shutdowns'. The qualified team members would have successfully completed an approved four day First Aid at work course. Forklift use on site. Many of our floor layers hold licenses to drive counterbalance fork lift trucks. Risk AssessmentsMethod Statements, Risk Assessments and Coshh Assessments are provided as common practice. MSDSDownloadable MSDS are available for all of our products on the relevant pages. Should you not be able to download the PDFs, then we would be pleased to fax the information to you on your request. |
